The International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and Miles4Migrants (M4M) proudly announce their new partnership that will secure air transportation for refugees seeking to reunite with their families in a safe third country free of charge. By using frequent flyer miles or points provided by generous donors, Miles4Migrants will provide flight tickets to IRAP clients who have been approved for family reunification or other permanent relocation. The partnership will help eliminate the financial barriers to travel that result in added stress and uncertainty for those who are already in dangerous or unstable situations.
“We are thrilled to partner with Miles4Migrants and take our service to clients one step further. Miles4Migrants’ generous donations of transportation allow IRAP to ensure that our clients have the practical ability to reach safety once their applications for relocation are granted.”
– Kristine Rembach, IRAP’s Director of Complementary Pathways
“We are extremely proud to be working with IRAP. Ever since the IRAP lawyers spearheaded the in-airport response to the Muslim Ban in January 2017, the Miles4Migrants team has been working toward a day when our donors could use their miles to fly IRAP’s program recipients. We look forward to working together to further our shared values and ensure that the cost of airfare is never a reason one should be separated from family or kept in danger.”
– Seth Stanton, CEO/Managing Director of Miles4Migrants
