The Marine Corps Times published an article yesterday, highlighting the special bonds between Marines and their local interpreters. The article also discusses the arduous and lengthy process of obtaining a Special Immigrant Visa to the United States.
IRAP’s own Katie Reisner weighed in on the issue, mentioning how often Marines help their interpreters secure entry to the United States after returning home. “The Marines are amazing,” she said, “These Marines and their interpreters maintain close relationships.”
